Console surgeon — da Vinci surgical robot certificate

I am very pleased to share that I have successfully completed da Vinci technology training and am now certified as console surgeon by the manufacturer. This certificate confirms my ability to operate the components and applications of the state-of-the-art da Vinci Xi system, one of the most advanced platforms for minimally invasive surgery.

Many thanks also to Prof. Paul Magnus Schneider, who supported me greatly during this stage of my training.

The training took place at the RAIN Robotic Academy of Intuitive in Naples, under the leadership of Filippo Polleri. During the programme I learned how to handle the instruments, accessories and software of the da Vinci system, which enables me to perform precise, patient-friendly surgical procedures.

Da Vinci technology is revolutionising surgery by giving surgeons unprecedented precision and control. With this certification, I am now able to use this technology in my daily practice and offer my patients the best possible access to minimally invasive procedures.

With this new qualification I will continue to expand my knowledge and skills in surgical robotics and look forward to using this advanced system in future interventions. These skills will also be of great help during the fellowship in Mainz with Prof. Peter Grimminger.
